10 Tips to Avoid Germs while Traveling



When traveling, especially for vacations or work trips, using public transportation is often a necessity. 1. Always carry hand sanitizer

Tap water on planes may be contaminated, and washing with soap and water onboard does not ensure your hands are germ-free. Keep a small bottle of hand sanitizer on you and use it after restroom visits and immediately after you exit the transportation. It’s best to avoid touching your mouth, eyes, or nose until you’ve properly washed your hands once you’re off the plane or train.

2. Be cautious about beverages

Considering the potential contamination of tap water used for drinks on public transport, it’s advisable to steer clear of coffee or tea, as both are typically made with tap water.
